Vintage Clodrey CR Club “CHRISTIE” Doll 19” Vinyl Orig Box (Year?) Kankelon Wig.  On the back of her head it reads "
2018, Clodrey 7601, Made in France
".  Her wig was loose which also allowed me to see the tag in the wig.  Look at pics.  I dont believe Christie is dated 2018 because of the wear to her box, and other Christie dolls I saw were dated in the 1970s.  Also "Clodrey" label on her head indicates the 1970s.  The Clodrey Corolle dolls were designed by Catherine Refabert and her spouse when they began their own doll-making firm, Corolle, in 1978 in Langeais, France.  The name later changed to the trademarked CR Club dolls, using Catherine Refabert's initials.
This doll is simply charming.  She has long hair, blondish in color, which is a kankelon wig.  It is in very good condition and I restyled her hair, see pics, sorry I ran out of pink ribbon.  The wig is glued at the front, unglued at the back.  Her outfit was laundered, starched and pressed by me!  I added pink ribbon ties at the neck and waist.   This doll has a pretty face, light freckles, and brown sleep eyes with thick lashes.  Her shoes look like vinyl, black in color with tie strings.  The doll has a paper inside about the care of the wig, and I have included a stand for her.  I dont know if she is a limited edition or not, no marks on the doll's body to confirm that.
The box is not perfect and has edge and corner wear consistent with shelf wear and its age.  It is in good condition, no rips or tears, see pics and zoom in.  If you need perfect, please don't buy.
