Details: Model has gone through a 5 year Restoration

    8) The item is "named" for Earl L. Smith (erroneously listed as Earl "A" Smith, a famous typo). Earl was a famous high-time pilot for various airlines is the 1920's-1940's and ended his career as an air accident investigator for the National Transportation Authority. This was an award given while wrapping up his career with that government agency.
