    Description

Vintage Pan Am Airlines menus-boarding passes-postcards-1970 & 1971.This will ship via USPS First Class mail.
This is a cool lot of vintage Pan Am Airlines material...check out what it was like to fly in 1970 and 1971! There are 4 menus...each with a different work of art on the front. The artist is Jacques Liozu. And what about that menu? Filet Mignon? Wow! This was a group traveling together but they were not in First Class.
Included in this lot are the 4 menus, 2 boarding portfolio's with boarding receipts from 2 different trips, and 3 post cards that Pan Am put out in the early 70's to brag about the "new Boeing 747".
The postcards and the menus are in excellent condition. And you can read the boarding pass receipts pretty clearly. It cost just .80 to fly from Paris to Frankfurt Germany in 1971! And in 1970, Round Trip from Kansas City, to New York, to Paris, and then back again was only 7.80! These days, I don't think that gets you from one coast to the other...and you certainly are not served Filet Mignon!
A great vintage lot for anyone who likes to collect travel or airline memorabilia...
Will ship via USPS First Class mail in a large envelope. I will put some cardboard in the envelope to protect it from getting bent, and will appropriately mark the envelope as well. I try to ship within a day of receiving payment. Payment is due within 48 hours of auction close. Be sure to check out my other vintage travel lots...I am adding several over the next couple of days.
