    Description

    USA SALES ONLY.  SORRY.
    A vintage/antique medicine bottle sold by Druggist Warren L. Alden (1828 - 1875)
of Bangor, Maine. It includes partial labeling, sufficient to establish Mr. Alden's location
at 2 Union Block, Main Street, in Bangor Maine.
The bottle, only 2 3/8" long, includes a rare dodecagon (12 sided) shape. I cannot detect any
cracks or chips. A partial cork is in the neck but I cannot tell if original, nor have I tried
    to retrieve it.
Bottles like these of mid-19th century vintage were found at Civil War battlefield sites
    ,
including Gettysburg. Given Mr. Alden's time-line above, this bottle may have been one.
