Vintage 1960s Battery Operated Tin Circus Lion Toy! Not Working But…see Descript

Moves but, broken. Maybe repairable. Vintage 1960s Battery Tin Circus Lion Magic Action Toy! Made In Japan, by Rock Valley. Condition is "Used". I am not sure how this works. I can get it to move, but I know it’s not working correctly. When I turn it on and press one of the metal things sticking out of the bottom, ( see last picture), I can get the lion to raise up, move it’s front legs and “growl”. I then turn it off, press one of the metal things again, and it returns to sitting position, but I have to work at it, to make it sit again. It does have a small tear in its groin area ( see pictures )Assume it is broken. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. No refunds on broken toys. This toy requires two included and installed D batteries, Please ask questions before you buy.
