    Description

    4 1/4" X 1 1/2” in a bright, rich amber from the late 1860's-1870's example. "B & P / N.Y." on one shoulder and "LYONS (in an arch) / POWDER" on the other. Both have strong embossing. Notice the glass mold flow "fin" on one side of the neck. Top of lip has the mold lines of an1860's bottle. Nice little "kick-up" on the unembossed base. Front of the label starts: "LYON'S / MAGNETIC POWDER / For the Destruction of / Insects, Ants, Garden Worms".....plenty more print (all easily readable) then at base: PRICE OF FLASK  25 Cts. / LYON MANUFACTURING CO. 144 DUANE ST, N.Y. (the N.Y. is missing). Viewer can see the missing parts of the label and fortunately very little print missing. Rare....
