teal green LAXOL / A.J. WHITE Ltd. scarce color damage free, low start, NR!

I am currently listing my better "bought" bottles from my collection, some of which I have had for decades. Did someone ask for color? Need to spruce up that plain window shelf? Listed here is a "LAXOL/ A.J. WHITE Ltd." medicine bottle in an appealing teal color, very different from the usual cobalt blue. One of just a few English made bottles listed from my collection. The Ltd. gives it away as being British made, as well as the lacking of base embossing and no "Laxol" embossed on reverse shoulder. This bottle appears older than the 1894 patent date would suggest, not uncommon with British made bottles. There is a distracting "line" running from edge of base to just under the lip on the reverse side which prevents it from being too distracting as it displays nicely from the front. At first glance I thought it had cracked in shipping but on closer inspection it is clearly an in-the-making crease or flaw of some kind. I can't begin to guess what would cause it as it is fairly unique in my experience. Also on reverse is a hard to find tiny white potstone. Even the embossing looks older and more crude, likely because I can find no evidence of air-venting, common on bottles of the 1890's. Need some color for your color run of Laxols? This color would be tough to find American made! Stands about 6 3/4" tall and is damage free, just some minor internal haze.
