Henry Wadsworth Longfellow poem 'The Village Blacksmith' is printed on the back side. The poem is about the Smithy who worked near Longfellow's home in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The poem was first published in 1840.
The tray was produced as an advertising/promotional item by the Sunshine Biscuits, Inc.
Condition: The tray is in fair vintage condition with a few scratches that are consistent with the age of the piece. Still an acceptable addition to a tin collection.
