Pain reliever and problems with “impoverished blood”.
Bottle:
8 oz with label and embossed on back: “The Name St. Joseph’s Assures Purity”
7 ¼”. Unusual sloped shoulder shape.
Box:
Bottom half is very good. The top half is soiled from leaking liquid in the past. The top flap is loose and in very poor condition. Ads for other St. Joseph’s products on both sides and the back. It has original cardboard inserts.
Advertising Literature
: I had never unfolded the flyers until I took pictures. They loved to advertise their products. Two large pages with ads on both sides.
FREE Bottle
: Embossed on back: “The Name St. Joseph’s Assures Purity”. I added the cork and some green colored water that is almost gone.
These bottles are part of my collection.
I started collecting medicines in the early 1970s and stopped about 1985. These have been in storage since then.
I’ve owned the bottles with labels, in boxes or with contents since 1971 and I am the original retail purchaser of these bottles. I had a summer job selling product to drug stores. In Greenville, SC, I found over 100 bottles of old store stock. The owner bought the pharmacy after WWII and put all the old stock he didn’t think would sell in cabinets. I sold most of the bottles but kept the ones I liked the most. I am selling them now.
