Sparking 1850s "GRAEFENBERG / DYSENTARY SYRUP / NEW YORK" Open Pontil
We're pleased to offer this beautiful example of a very early American medicine bottle. Hand blown into a two part mold in a pale greenish aqua colored glass, circa 1850s. Has an applied tapered top and a concave base with a open tube pontil. A few pinhead size surface marks but no chips, cracks, scratches, stain or repairs. Size is 5-3/4" tall x 1-7/8" wide. Beautiful old bottle, crude & highly whittled.
