it is embossed with the old colored drugstore bottle collector's familiar mark "

.
Condition
: These bottle's are dug bottles and show the tell tale signs of lying on the bank of the Los Angeles River for 75 YEARS! They have heavy wear and heavy patina (stain and etching). The clear bottle has
NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. The green bottle is another story, it has dings, cracks, and last but not least, a hole in the back corner of it. It actually looks just like what a CENTURY OLD bottle would look like after being thrown down the river bank in 1900 and then being pounded by the elements, high water, and man moving and pushing the land fill around while cementing the bank of the river and running it under ground!

insurance. We have enjoyed shipping our items all over the world and are happy to offer most of our items to international buyers. Yet insuring International parcels is very expensive so PLEASE NOTE; we do
NOT
insure International orders unless winning buyer specifically requests this and we are able to provide an insurance quote. We do not falsify information on the Customs Form, such as a price other than what the actual purchase price is, so please do not request us to do so. We ship several times a week and send payment acknowledgments and shipping confirmations. Your prompt payment will assure a very quick turn-around time.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If our shipping charge is much more than the actual shipping cost, we will refund the excess so what
YOU
pay for shipping/insurance is very close to, if not exactly, the
ACTUAL
shipping costs! This is especially important for foreign buyers to know as most of our foreign shipping charges are rough estimates

These are both scarce-to-rare bottles to find as L.A. is so paved over, few have been found in recent years. The highlights of these bottles are:
1)The nice, larger 6" and 7 1/" tall, sizes.
2)The beautiful deep EMERALD or 7UP GREEN color of the one.
3)They are WESTERN bottles, WESTERN drug store bottles, one a WESTERN colored drug store bottle.
Not commonly found bottles on account of this.
**
These bottles were dug up nearly 50 years ago on the bank of the L.A. River. I have a map which shows the area that the old dump was in, which has now long been filled in, covered over, and paved. It was in a downtown section of that city, and there were many prime bottles that were found on these digs in the dump. We purchased the collection some time back and there were a handful of green drug store embossed bottles including 1/2 dozen Sun Drug poison bottles and several Sun Drug Citrate of Magnesia bottles. There were maybe 100 owl drug bottles, several cobalt blue, some amber, and milk glass, a large super rare BRECKLIEN poison bottle, and many clear L.A. drug store bottles. This is a pair of them that were dug there, side by side,
