    Here is a SQUARE DEEP PURPLE BLOWN IN THE MOLD PATENT MEDICINE BOTTLE that is boldly embossed on 3 sides:

    It is about 8 1/4" TALL and is in
    GOOD
    CONDITION
    but does has a tiny chip on the side of the lip along with some light wear and scratches on the unembossed side. There is a tiny not open bubble on a corner base edge
    and some in the making crazing on top of the LIP and are NOT damage. There SEE PICS FOR MORE DETAIL ON CONDITION AND CHARACTER.
    This bottle is considered to be "IRRADIATED" as it got it's PURPLE COLOR by MECHANICALLY ACCELERATING the "PURPLING PROCESS" through intense ULTRA VIOLET RAYS that would have taken a long time in the same ULTRA VIOLET RAYS of the SUN and even then it would not be as dark purple as opposed to using the accelerated machine process. The bottle was made with MANGANESE in the GLASS MIXTURE and that's where the COLOR comes from.................
