nice BROWN AMBER colored
antique
OWL DRUG CO
bottle.
This is what is referred to as the '
MICHELOB
' owl bottle or
Hydrogen Peroxide
Owl Drug bottle.   We've seen a few of them over the years with paper labels which showed they contained
HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
in them.  BUT we've
also seen one with a SILICATE SODA label
, a product that was used to preserve eggs with.

Bottle embossed with a picture of a tiny owl perched on a druggists' mortar, stirring a pestle.  The mortar is embossed with, "
TODCo / TRADE MARK
".   TODCo = The Owl Drug Co.
The little bird embossed on this bottle is an odd 2 WINGED bird which is unusual as almost all of the early BIM mold blown bottles the notorious 1 winged bird on them

Condition
:
Bottle is in very good condition.  It has a few patches of wear/stain (patina) and a paper thin flake off the backside of the lip, too small to show up in a picture and so small that you have to you look for it to see it.   There isn't anything significantly wrong with it, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.  PLEASE see pictures for idea of  bottle's overall appearance.

As mentioned, this bottle is an Owl Drug HYDROGEN PEROXIDE or simply 'PEROXIDE' bottle as most of the ones ever seen with paper labels showed that is what they contained.  But it also has a similar look to an old MICHELOB beer bottle, so they are referred to as the Owl 'Michelob' bottle.
What is amazing is that they are not that common but when you do see them for sale, they are reasonably priced, compared to other amber Owl Drug bottles.  And then also, the little bird embossed on this bottle is an odd perfectly balanced 2 WINGED bird which is unusual as just about all of the early BIM mold blown bottles known of have the notorious one 1 winged - off center bird on them, and yet, this one shows 2 wings both evenly.  An anomaly if there ever was one!  This one is made up of nice clean glass as it seems most of them are,
