RUBIFOAM BOTTLE, SAMPLE BOTTLE WITH BOX & INSTRUCTIONS, ADVERTISING FAN lot

Description

This listing is for a lot of three items.  They are a fun set of items advertising Rubifoam which was apparently produced in the late 1800's and started as a cologne which then was used on teeth.  It has an interesting history.  The empty bottle is 4 inches high and the following words are on the front in raised letters:  Rubifoam For The TEETH Put up By E.W. Hoyt & Company  Lowell, Mass.  The tiny sample bottle is the jewel of this lot.  It is in its original box and only came out when I took pictures.  The top of the box came apart but it is with the box.  Inside the box is an instruction sheet but a piece was torn off of it.  The bottle has a stopper and some of the ruby colored liquid can still be seen in it.  It is slightly over 2 inches high.  The label on it is still perfect and the back has raised glass letters that read--Sample of Rubifoam for the Teeth E.W. Hoyt & Co Lowell, Mass.  You can see both sides of the box in my pictures.  The third item is the advertising fan.  I believe it was a reproduction in the 1940's.  It is in great shape.  All items are vintage--the bottles well over 100 years old.
