Hand blown in mold, bimal....crude drippy applied double ring collar....amber....oval....9 1/2"tall....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage, except for a small scratch on front; A shiny clean bottle with only a patch of light inside haze. This is an early glasshouse marked variant with the slug plate emb panel...you can plainly see the outlines of the slug plate.    H.H.Warner was a salesman of safes before he got into the patent medicine business in the early 1880s. He decided to use the trade mark safe to put in peoples minds that his line of family medicines were safe to use.
This "Safe" Kidney & Liver Cure was advertised "For Kidney & Liver Bright's Disease Jaundice, Gravel Stones, Dropsy, Impotency....Tumors, Irregular Periods, Convulsions, Female Complaints....Debility, Malaria...etc.."
Warner spent lavishly on advertising his medicines all over the U.S.A. which paid off greatly, because soon Warner had branches all over the world and became a very wealthy man.
