    Description

    Up for sale is an Antique Clear Pressed Glass Medicine Bottle Local to Baltimore, Maryland. Circa 1880s-1890s.
    This is a Rare sample sized medicine bottle that is quite heavy for its small size, either pressed glass or cut glass with the edges and corners being smoothed out. The bottle has embossing on one side that reads "GILBERT / BROS. & CO. / BALTIMORE". This bottle was recovered from a 1870s-1880s privy in downtown Baltimore with its original stopper.
    Most of the lip/neck is broken off, the dip-stick part of the stopper is broken off and there is light stain inside the bottle as seen in the photos. Otherwise it is in good condition with nice embossing.
    Measurements are approximately:
    4 1/4" Tall with Stopper.
    3 5/8" Tall without Stopper.
    1 3/4" x 1 3/4" Base.
