The purpose of the U117 light meter is to control the illumination created by incandescent lamps and natural light, the sources of which are located arbitrarily with respect to the light meter's light receiver.
The principle of operation is magnetoelectric.

The U117 light meter is designed to measure the illumination created by incandescent lamps and natural light, the sources of which are located arbitrarily with respect to the light meter's light receiver.
The U117 portable photoelectric light meter for general industrial use is used to control illumination in industry, agriculture, transport and other sectors of the national economy, as well as for research conducted in scientific, design and engineering organizations.
Technical parameters of the device:
The measurement range of the light meter is from 0.1 to 100000 lx. The limits of permissible error of the light meter in the main measurement range from 2 to 100 lx without nozzles correspond to ± 10% of the measured illumination, and in the range from 0.1 to 0.2 lx (without nozzles) - ± 30% of the value of the measured illumination.
The increase in the permissible error during the transition from the main measurement range to the remaining measurement ranges, by establishing or removing the appropriate nozzles, does not exceed ± 5 of the value of the measured illumination.
The light meter is a refurbished product.
