In superb, estate-fresh, antique condition. Previously used but not abused, this original, authentic, period lithographed enamel tin advertising tip tray, is an earlier

table water tip tray, featuring a red, surrounding raised sill and deep viridian green

typography fields, with the famous
White Rock
'Psyche'
logo of a bare chested, winged nymph kneeling on a rock by a body of water. The image is from the famous original painting by

Paul Thumann,
which was exhibited at the
1893 Chicago World's Fair
and for which
White Rock
purchased exclusive rights to use the image in its advertising, which became nationally and internationally known. The lithographed enamel tin tray is in splendid, well-preserved, antique condition and incredibly only has a few very minor scuffs and tiny abrasions on its surface. There's also a very small, tiny push in the tin in the interior basin of the tray. The verso features correct, deep olive, solid enamel paint. A simply incredible
