    Description

    Rare French Antique double ball seltzer/soda bottle covered with wire mesh and measuring approximately 16.5” tall with the large glass ball measuring about 7 inch diameter.  This amazing hand-blown, thick, heavy Artisan glass piece was crafted in the late 19th century and is marked: “VERITABLE SELTZOGENE D. FEVRE PARIS”.  The lid and spout are crafted of pewter.  These rare, beautiful, hard-to-find French bottles are the predecessors of the seltzer bottle with the earliest bottles such as this one made in Paris

    The top is on tightly, with just hand pressure I could not unscrew. To avoid risk of damaging item, I did not try more. The inside of the bottle is dirty as a result.
