An early pontiled label under glass apothecary medicine bottle that came out of the basement of an 1800s drugstore in Illinois.....

in black letters on a white label with gold trim; with glass cover over it...called "label under glass" by collectors......Hand blown in paste mold, so there are no mold seams...rough pontil scar on bottom....hand tooled "prescription" ring lip....clear...round...7 3/8"tall (8 1/4"with stopper).....Excellent condition with no chips or damage to bottle itself. The glass label has chips around edge. Original mushroom stopper is perfect....
