Condition
:   Bottle has some light wear and content stain.   It is in overall excellent condition and there's nothing specifically wrong with it.  NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.  PLEASE see pictures for idea of the label's condition

I believe this is the type of bulk bottle that a pharmacist would of purchased opium in, to make up and fill his prescriptions with.  It had a fairly strong mixture of opium and alcohol and would of been
habit forming
to say the least, which is why it was dispensed by a licensed pharmacist.  Normally the tincture of opium bottles you see are tiny 1/2 or 1 ounce bottles and the content was dispensed by the drop or dram.  That's what makes this example rare and unusual, the large PINT SIZE.
It is
not common to find bottles that still have their original paper labels on them
as very few of them survived the elements of time ... with paper labels intact and in this
especially nice condition,
