An early pontiled Dr.Kennedy's Medical Discovery bottle from the 1850s with a big jagged open pontil on bottom!.....

(emb in large bold letters on sunken front and side panels)....Open Pontil.....crude applied tapered collar....aqua.....rect...8 1/2"tall....it has a 1 1/2"crack at base on Roxbury side panel; no other damage. A dug bottle with haze & some light surface swirl lines from being buried in wet soil for over 160 years.  This is one of the very first bottles ever used by Dr.David Kennedy
