(boldly emb around bottle)....open pontil....crude rolled in lip....aqua....round...3 3/4"tall.....Excellent shiny mint condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean bottle with no haze. The pontil sticks out a little from bottom causing a lean to one side, but the bottle stands upright on its own just fine. This bottle contained one of the most popular worm expeller or vermifuge medicines of the mid 1800s. Many children ran around in bare feet most of the time on dirt floors and filthy ground, thus getting intestinal parasitic worms. If not expelled from the body the worms could cause sickness and even death
