Here's a crude early pontiled New England glass ink or utility medicine bottle from the 1840 era....no embossing....Hand blown in mold....Open Pontil....crude applied tapered lip....olive amber with mostly green color....4 1/2" x 1 5/8"round...Sparkling attic mint condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean bottle with no haze. Crude whittled glass with a large drip on inside surface
