The bottle is a beautiful flawless amber. The white pills make it look honey amber.

A string is around the neck, probably holding tissue paper covering the cork.

The label has darkened but it is complete and smooth.

I started collecting medicines in the early 1970s and stopped about 1985. These have been in storage since then.
I’ve owned the bottles with labels, in boxes or with contents since 1971 and I am the original retail purchaser of these bottles. I had a summer job selling product to drug stores. In Greenville, SC, I found over 100 bottles of old store stock. The owner bought the pharmacy after WWII and put all the old stock he didn’t think would sell in cabinets. I sold most of the bottles but kept the ones I liked the most. I am selling them now.
