New York - Circa 1880 JSP Malt Extract Tonic (Joseph S. Pederson, Tarrant)
This medicinal type extract was advertised as a "Nutritive Tonic" by Joseph S. Pederson (JSP) and sold by Tarrant & Co. New York. It has a hand tooled double taper top, could be 1875-1880 vintage. This bottle comes in many colors, and this one is a bit odd. It has lovely whittle character in the glass, crude.

Condition:
excellent - perfect structurally with no chips, bruises, cracks or dings. It has never been polish cleaned and has some light surface haze and interior haze in spots, plus a bit of spotty light wear but not bad at all.
