    Description

Featured in this auction is a sweet little cabinet vase made by Camark Pottery of Camden, Arkansas.  This lovely vase is in excellent, near-mint condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs.  I found a tiny grinding sliver in the glaze just at the base rim edge, and unglazed clay tags are visible inside.  This pottery is unmarked but most likely dates to the 1930's.  The vase is identified in the
    Collector's Guide to Camark Pottery
by David E. Gifford as shape number 125.  This piece is almost 4-1/2" tall, about 5" wide at the shoulder, and 3" wide at the top rim opening.  This gorgeous glaze combination was actually given a number by Camark, number 39, called "Blue and White Stipple".  The glaze drips of this amazing technique have produced a rich, matte textured finish.  The piece is very clean but believed to have been gently used.  Check out all 8 photos!  This stunning vase would look amazing in your favorite display cabinet.  It would also be perfect for any Camark or American art pottery collector.  Check out my other pottery listings!
