Medicine Bottle Lot of 9 (1880's-1910)
This auction is a nice group of vintage bottles, mainly from the late 1880's to about 1915. The lot includes:
HOOD'S / SARSA / PARILLA // C. I. HOOD & CO. // LOWELL, MASS.
- aqua, large multi-paneled medicine with hand tooled top, 9 3/8" tall. Condition:
perfect structurally, just patchy haze and dust to wash up
Apothecary jar with glass stopper and fancy shield shaped panel with label that reads:
WYETH'S / GELATIN / CAPSULES / ... / JOHN WYETH & BROTHER / PHILADELPHIA
- amber, round, 9". Condition: jar is perfect structurally and clean, but the glass stopper has some chipping all around the bottom (still fits snugly)
OMEGA OIL
- small round cylinder, aqua, tooled top, 3 3/8". Condition: no damage, some stain
CHAMBERLAIN // BOTTLE MADE IN AMERICA
- paneled medicine, light aqua, 6". Condition: near mint, no damage
BROMO-SELTZER / EMERSON / DRUG CO. / BALTIMORE, MD
- round, cobalt blue, machine made, less common larger size, 4 1/4". Condition: near mint, no damage
