Lot of 4 Amber Medicine/Chemical Cylinder bottles.
This lot includes 4 round medical/chemical bottles.
It includes two unembossed round bottles.
There are also two embossed bottles.
They include:
1. MILKS
EMULSION
2. LIQUOZONE
MANUFACTURER ONLY BY
THE LIQUOZONE CO.
CHICAGO, U.S.A.
The taller of the unembossed bottles is base embossed with: P. D. & Co. which stand for Parke Davis Company.
The shorter of the two is base embossed with: M C W which stands for Mallinckrodt Chemical Works, St. Louis, Missouri (1867-to date). I believe most, if not all, of the bottles found with this mark are hand-blown and date from approximately the 1880-1920 period.
All have cork tops.
They range from 5-7/8 to 7-5/8 inches tall.
There are no chips or cracks.
Additional cleaning is always suggested.
