Description
Lincoln Kansas belt buckle commemorating the Farmers National Bank established in 1903 and the Lincoln County Courthouse built out of local post rock in 1899. This buckle is from my personal collection and has not been worn but only displayed and is in excellent condition. Serial number is 237 of 250. Maker's mark is 1982 Siskiyou Buckle Co. Inc. Williams, Oregon.Lincoln is the county seat of Lincoln county, Kansas with a census population of 1,202 for the city and 3,200 for the county.
Lincoln County is known as "Post Rock" country for the limestone used for making posts for fencing and for buildings such as the Farmers National Bank building and others.
