You are bidding on an embossed amber drip-dispensary pharmacy bottle which was manufactured in Germany by the Lamprecht's glass manufacture from 1880 onwards. It comes from a collection of pharmacy glass from a pharmacy that had been in family hands for more than a hundred years. The bottle has a beaked neck and a groved heart-shaped stopper (which allows to exactly regulate the amount of air coming into the bottle and hence the speed at which the drops come out - you have to try... it works amazingly well). This is a super cool item for both Civil War reenacting (it was at that time used for dripping chloroform on a piece of cloth for narcotizing soldiers in the war) and as a show piece in an early apothecary history or an old drug store. The embossing says "LAMPRECHT'S L-H" on the body and "10" on the base (the 10 indicates the volume which is 10ml). CONDITION: Very good! - t are NO chips, cracks, or damages of any kind on the bottle. Only the stopper is slightly chipped on the bottom that goes into the bottle (see picture). The stopper is free and original. HEIGHT: about 3.4 inches or 8.8 cm (including the heart-shaped stopper). Any questions are welcome at any time.
