Up for sale is a matching tin tray and tin handled box both featuring the August 1912 cover of the Ladies Home Journal. The round tray measures 14" in diameter and 1 1/4" deep. Features the magazine cover surrounded by a chintz and butterfly pattern. Also comes with a tin basket shaped box with the same design. The box measures 6" X 5" X 5" and has two handles and a removable lid - all decorated with the same chintz and butterfly patter - though the flowers and butterflies are a red color. Both pieces are in very good condition with very minor wear - no rust or corrosion.
