Description
This is an unusual, antique medicine bottle that's blown in mold, dates to around the 1890's-1900's:TULA WATER FOR THE COMPLEXION/ WOMAN'S CO-OPERATIVE TOILET CO. SOTHBEND, IND./ PRICE .75 CENTS PER BOTTLE
Measures 5-1/2" tall by 2" wide, with a hand tooled lip, wrap around label, and box. Apparently this was a health - medicinal concoction for women that helped with complexion, wrinkles, freckles, blotches, and even acne.
The corked bottle is in very good condition with only dried inside/outside residue. The original label and box have stains, and some dry residue. Label is completely intact and legible. The bottle has a little dry powdery residue at the bottom, don't think it amounts to much. The box is worn and stained, and there is a paper insert with instructions, advertising that is in a couple pieces folded up and brittle. One of the box's top side flaps is missing.
