A rare unlisted Iowa medicine bottle that we dug from an 1880-90s outhouse privy pit....
KRAUSE'S GERMAN OIL
(boldly emb on both sunken side panels)....Hand blown in mold....hand tooled square ring lip...clear....rect....6 1/8"tall....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. A small amount of light inside haze, but not bad. This bottle was from Lichty & Co of Des Moines,Iowa who were proprietors of Krause's patent medicines. This bottle is not listed in the Iowa bottle book or any other reference I could find....
