GW MERCHANT LOCKPORT/ NY super color, early & crude pontiled, pristine!

I am currently listing my better "bought" bottles from my collection, some of which I have had for decades. That said, I'm starting with my higher paid for bottles, this one embossed "GW MERCHANT/ LOCKPORT/ NY. Early open pontiled base, super crude. It is in perfect shiny condition, possibly tumbled, no haze or crud. Stands 5 1/8" tall and 2" x 1". Has some in the making roughness on inner side of lip that is common with most of these early bottles from this company. Base has a slightly depressed area from the pressure of applying the pontil rod with a diagonal hinge mold seam.  This one has to be my favorite of those listed today, a classic example of this company's long lived product.
