Elvin Hayes Washington Bullets autographed Double Matted Sports Illustrated w Inscription.
Item: Up for bidding in this auction is a double matted Elvin Hayes Washington Bullets Full Copy Sports Illustrated Magazine with the inscription of HOF 90 in black sharpie. Mr. Hayes signed this for us at the CSA Show in Chantilly, Virginia but we are unsure of the date.. The Outer Dimension of the matting is 13 1/4 x 16 inches.
Condition: There is some minor dings in the magazine paper and it does have the mailing label attached.
Authentication: It was authenticated by Online COA and you can read about them below.
I am clearing out a large collection of Sports Memorabilia.
I used to run a custom art and sports memorabilia framing business in Delaware.
My wife and I moved to Florida.
I am now parting with a large amount of items that are sitting in tubs in closets around the house.
Some of these items are signed and some are not.
Some of these items I purchased to have signed and they did not get signed.
Some of these items have been matted for framing and have been signed.
My wife and I used to work for Online COA at the Chantilly Collectors Showcase of America show 3 times a year.
We would get good deals on getting items signed or should say I would get good deals.
She was never really interested in it.
But she did like to meet some of the athletes old and young...
I will be selling these items all at a low price and some have authentication and some do not.
I know everything I have up for auction was signed in my presence.
Some of it was authenticated by Online COA but they have went out of business so although these items were signed in their presence there is no wayto prove that.
Those of you who had stuff authenticated by them know they were legit when athletes were signing at the show.
They would take a video, still photographs, and photograph your item for the website.
Which is gone...
But... bottom line is I am selling my items..
