Dr. Rogers’ Vegi-Medica Syrup Bottle Boston Massachusetts Labeled Rare Medicine

Here we have an aqua blown in mold/applied lip bottle embossed on one side panel “Dr. Rogers’s”, embossed on the front “Vegi-Medica”, and embossed on the other side panel “Syrup”.
Bottle is 9-1/4” tall, 3-3/16” wide, and 2” deep and is in very good condition with very light interior haze and a couple of microscopic rough spots on the crude lip but no other chips, cracks, or other damage.
The original label is also in place and is roughly 75% intact and advertises this as a True Blood Purifier capable of curing everything from Scrofula to Syphilis.
Dr. Rogers was located on 1738 Washington Street in Boston, Massachusetts.
He was a known quack who was “exposed” in the Boston Journal of Health.
His bottles appear very scarce; this is only the second one I have ever seen, with the first having a different style of lip; I’ve never seen another with even a scrap of a label.
Just a cool large early Boston medicine bottle.
I just love the poor grammar in “Rogers’s”.
