This DOVO stainless steel file with a satin finish has a 'triple cut' filing surface. The German 'triple cut' file is intended to be used for fast and easy initial filing/shaping which removes the large burrs and abrupt angle changes left behind by a nipper, clipper, or scissor. It is not intended to be a 'final finish' file, as they intend the triple cut file to be followed by either a glass file or a sapphire type file. A triple cut file's great advantages are its speed and durability. Suitable for steam sterilization in professional environments.
