The kit takes back probably to the mid-80's.  It includes a pair of infant socks but my guess is that the elastic would be dry rotted from age and would need to be replaced.  Fiberfill is not included as part of the kit.  I have had it since it was new but never got a chance to make them.  From a smoke free home.
