    BELIEVE THIS DOSE GLASS IS EARLY, AND A RARE UNKNOWN RARITY VARIETY ORIGINAL OWNER CONSIDERED IT "EXTREMELY RARE".....IT HAS CRISP EMBOSSING, AND IS LIGHT CLEAR COLORED, BUT HAS THE AGE, WOULD TURN DARKER PURPLE IF LEFT IN SUNLIGHT....THIS  COMES OUT OF THE LATE AUTHOR'S COLLECTION,
    THIS DRUG STORE IN SACRAMENTO STARTED AROUND 1888....BELIEVE THIS GLASS ISSUED AROUND 1900
    This is a beautiful and believe rare old "SACRAMENTO" CALIFORNIA issued "DOSE GLASS" .....This comes out of a lifetime collection of California dose glasses , where original owner collected dose glasses from all over state of California...here is a stunning representative from "SACRAMENTO CALIFORNIA" in that collection
    These old western drug store "dose glasses" are flat out tough to find today......and this is a rare one
    The historic  town of SACRAMENTO is located in Sac County California...not far from towns of Folsom, Citrus Heights and Roseville Cal.
    THIS DOSE GLASS DISPLAYS WONDERFULLY, EMBOSSING IS CRISP & NICE, ..DISPLAYS WELL, NICE COLOR, VERY SHARP PC.
    This dose glass is what I would call a
    light sun purpled to clear
    colored glass, it stands about 1 7/8" tall  ...and it is a very nice specimen,

    , ...Has the age and would likely turn darker purple if left in sun
