    Description

    Product Update: We have now created a nice little leather pouch to contain our sewing kits that also has storage for two more additional needles. This pouch is double hand stitched with artificial sinew with two snaps for closure. Fits great in a pocket, is very convenient, and now comes with a total of four needles. Standard pouch color is black, but if you want brown that may be possible depending on leather inventory at time of order. If colors other than black are desired please ask to verify I have your chosen color before purchasing. If I have your color on hand I can whip the pouch up pretty fast.
    This is a neat little piece of kit. For those bushcrafters, primitive living enthusiasts, and other outdoors types, this little sewing kit is the bomb for quick repairs to your canvas, tent, jacket, or just for good old crafting in the wild.
    Our little kit consists of a piece of tree branch about four inches long. We leave the bark on the outside edges to give it some grip and that rustic look, but the bark is shaved from the middle area where the thread is wrapped. The thread is thirty feet of very high strength artificial sinew that can be used as is or separated down to finer thread. There are also multiple needles, one at each end, inserted into the soft middle of the wood.
    It is great for sewing pouches and other items and can also be used to stitch cuts in an emergency or for primitive fishing line in a pinch. If you are looking at this I am guessing you are the type of person that likes multi purpose items. It's a bushcraft thing...

    Remember, needles are easy to break, (any needles), so be sure to pull them straight through the work piece. If you pull them at an angle or bend them they can possibly break in the eye if you are stitching thick material.
