Condition
:   The bottle is in GOOD SOLID condition, just a great looking antique bottle. It has stain, though it looks to be mainly inside content stain/residue, and the bottle has some outside wear and dullness/patina.  Overall there is nothing specifically wrong with the bottle, it has NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.  PLEASE see pictures for better idea of the label's condition.

: An original antique hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. late
1800's.

This product comes in a small pill bottle AND in the large ONE GALLON cobalt blue liquid syrup cylinder bottle, and this bottle in between.  It was similar or maybe even the predecessor to Milk of Magnesia, a liquid taken by the spoonful for
treating heart burn, upset stomach, dyspepsia, indigestion, etc.  It is getting hard to find one of these large blue bottles as they are so desirable most of them just sit in collections and the owner's do not want to part with them.   Also, they just didn't make that many in the first place and as a bottle digger myself, it seems most of them were broken as we've dug many of these
BROKEN
.   It is of course, even rarer to find one with the label, which is why
this one has a color copied label
on it as there are just not enough of the labeled ones to  match the number of collectors who want one.
These bottles are some of the NICEST EXAMPLES of an old collectible bottle in existence.
They have so much going for them ... the DEEP BLUE color, the LARGE size, they are FULLY EMBOSSED, and they are not commonly found, yet here one is ...
