Benicia Patina WARNER'S SAFE w/ large recessed circular slug mold repair on back

Besides being really nice looking with the multi color Benicia effect iridescent patina, this one has a strange mold repair on the reverse side that I have not seen before on one of these.  It's recessed and circular, about the size of an old silver dollar.  You can see a raised bump both at 12 o'clock on the circle and at 6 o'clock.  I'm guessing these were some type of fasteners that held the circular piece into the mold??  Also, am noticing on the embossing that there is a Period after Rochester (not a comma), and there is no Period after the
Y
in NY, only after the
N
.  The glasshouse must've let one of their child laborers make this mold !
