Description
I am currently listing my better "bought" bottles from my collection, some of which I have had for decades. These gorgeous western classics will brighten up any window or shelf of picture meds with the nicely prominent mortar & pestle, along with the embossed bragging rights "PIONEER/1850." One of the earliest concerns in old SF, their blue bottles come in a variety of shades and crudeness as they tend to be the earlier of the two. This blue example is applied top and a crude mold that looks like an early diagonal seam post mold. It is very clean with no noticeable haze, chips cracks or other excuses and likely from the late 1870's-early 80's. Same condition for the amber example, which is a later tooled top version likely from the 1890's. They are both 5 1/2" tall by 1 3/4" by 1 3/8" square. If you are unhappy for any reason, you will have my standard guarantee of your satisfaction for any or no reason or full refund upon return. Also I will offer free shipping if you win three or more of my auctions and will combine where practical. Thanks for looking and keep watching for more as I continue to thin out my collection of 57 years. All reasonable offers considered.
