STEARNS-HOLLINSHEAD Co
, that was operating out of PORTLAND OREGON and across the international border to the north, VANCOUVER British Columbia.   Not many NW American companies were doing business on the west coast of America AND Canada  back then.  This is an antique DENTAL bottle and
many collectors of antique dental bottles are dentists, building small collections of antique dental bottles to display in their waiting rooms and offices.
This is a prime example of just this sort of thing as t
he label mentions "using this product with DENTIFRICE, after brushing the TEETH, and that it is a germicide for the MOUTH, TEETH, THROAT ... "  It goes on to
say it is "An Aid To Prevent and Relieve Phorrhoea ... ", which were all things related to early day dentistry.
Antique dental / tooth related bottles are a category of collecting themselves and this is a rare example of one, both
EMBOSSED
and
LABELED
,
WESTERN
in origin and
FINITE
in existence as only so many old bottles survived the ruins of time with paper labels intact, and this one survived quite well
