Antique Wood Crate & Bottles Paris Medicine St Louis General Drug Store Display.
This is a really special find, almost a full crate of Hayes Healing Honey from the Paris medicine company in St. Louis Missouri.
Included are three unopened displays still wrapped each containing six bottles and six salve tins in each individual box. Plus there is one Open display with two more boxes with the Bottle and salve enclosed. So there is a total of 20 boxes, some still sealed in their displays = 20 bottles , 20 salve tins and then also 20 samples of liver tablets in each box. Great labels on the bottles and artwork on the boxes. The Crate itself has advertising on four sides as shown in the photographs and shows it to be shipped from Milwaukee drug Company to an apothecary in Eagle River. E. D. Richmond Eagle River Wisconsin is on the lid.
Lastly there is a counter display with a cardboard box attached to it and spots for the salve and bottle to be inserted, a great whole package here, a great addition to your apothecary, drugstore, or general store display. I would date this to be early 1900s.
Everything fits back inside the crate, how it was found, and the crate measures roughly 10 1/2 x 12 x 8 1/4 tall.
Will include the nails that were holding the lid on.
