PHALON & SON PERFUMERS
bottle from New York. Dating between 1840-1860, this bottle is aqua in color and stands 5-3/16" tall by 1-7/8" wide. It is blown in mold and has an applied square collar, long neck, smooth panels, sloped shoulders, crude non-symmetrical features, wavy, irregular glass surfaces and a tubular open pontil scar in the center of the base. It is horizontally embossed on three sides and reads as follows:
PHALON & SON // PERFUMERS // NEW YORK
This early open pontil fragrance bottle is in outstanding condition with no cracks, chips or damage besides a little light haze.
