    Description

This is an antique, labeled & embossed quack medicine bottle that's blown in mold, dates to the 1890's or so:
    HOOD'S SARSAPARILLA/ C.I. HOOD & Co./ LOWELL, MASS
    .
Measures 9" tall by 2-7/8" wide, with a hand tooled, collared lip, many tiny entrapped air bubbles, thick glass, and a post mold base. Embossed on three panels, with the label on the back that states that the label was adopted Aug 1, 1897, and goes on to give the directions and dosage.
The bottle itself is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks, or any other issues. The label is torn at the bottom, and a bit stained/yellowed.
