    Description

This is an antique, labeled medicine cure bottle that's blown in mold and dates to about 1880-1890:
PE-RU-NA / COLUMBUS, OHIO/ FOR COUGHS, COLDS, CONSUMPTION DISEASE OF THE LUNGS, ACUTE OR CHRONIC CATARRH, INFLUENZA, MALARIA,....
Measures 9-1/8" tall by 3" diameter, with a hand tooled tapered lip, nice neck swirl, entrapped air bubbles, and base embossing. One side of the labeling is in English, the other in German I believe.
The bottle itself is in very good condition without any chips or cracks, just some outside residue/haze. The original wrap around label is about 80% intact, with a large section missing on the back, as well as the sides near the bottom. Ragged around the edges, very brittle label, also yellowed/ creased and stained.
