Condition
:   Bottle is in VERY GOOD good condition, it has just some traces of cloudy white stain and that's it.   NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.
Age
:  An early hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. late 1800's.

Many years go we had one of these bottles that was in all original condition. It still had the contents, was in original packaging, and had a small embossed HEART on the bottom of the bottle and had enough information about the product to detect it was a cure-all bottle for HEART ailments. Most all of the examples of this bottle we see are the larger full-sized bottles that are machine made, and they are embossed "PEPTO MANGAN GUDE", which sounds like some kind of South America Malaria Cure. To understand the embossing, Gude was the original medicine man (a self made Dr.) and the product was originally called "Dr. Gude's Pepto Mangan. Yet in time the name changed to Pepto Mangan Gude, and when you read all of that in one line "Pepto-Mangan Gude" well there you have it, a great sounding old quack cure, and in tablet form to boot,
